Another Politician Caught Sexting Sydney Leathers - The Same Woman Anthony Weiner Sexted
The Midwestern rep wanted to be called "B___ch Boy."
She's done it again!
The woman who brought down nationally prominent congressman Anthony Weiner in a sexting scandal is now involved in a similar scandal with another lawmaker.
She told INSIDE EDITION, "I absolutely did not think he was a politician. I was just as shocked as anyone else would be."
Weiner was forced to resign from Congress.
His wife, who's one of Hillary Clinton's top aides, stood by him.
Now, Sydney Leathers find herself in a carbon-copy political scandal.
Leathers told INSIDE EDITION it all started when an anonymous Twitter user answered a tweet she'd written. She made it clear in the tweet that she was looking for a new friend, but the wording is too naughty to be repeated.
She told INSIDE EDITION, "He was, I think, the first person that responded to that tweet."
Leathers says she and the mystery man then began a month-long, X-rated Twitter exchange during which he also sent her photos.
Fabian asked, "In the photos that he sent, he never showed his face, right?"
Leathers responded, "Correct, yeah. I never saw his face, I just saw his backside."
There was a hint of his job. He tweeted, "I work in civil law and have friends in gov/politics."
Leathers says she found out her anonymous admirer's identity when he sent her gifts from Amazon.
Leathers stated, "I would get billing information so it had his name on the receipts. That was his slip-up."
The name is Justin Moed.
And who is Justin Moed? He's an Indiana State Representative, a 32-year-old Democrat, and he's engaged to be married.
He's a former State Senate doorman who worked his way up to be elected in 2012.
He said in a statement, "I am truly sorry I have hurt the ones I love most with my poor judgement, I apologize to my constituents and to everyone I have let down."
Leathers said she can't believe the Weiner debacle could happen twice.
She told Steven Fabian, "I wish this guy would have been a Republican I'm sick of getting liberals in trouble."
