Avengers Fans Upset With 'Endgame' Spoilers on Social Media

Playing NFL Player Called Out for Spoiling ‘Avengers: Endgame’

No spoilers, please!

Avengers fans are begging people on social media not to ruin "Endgame" before they can see it. But some people can't help but ignore the message — including one NFL player.

Buffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy tweeted about the movie's emotional ending moments after seeing the superhero film over the weekend. He questioned a certain's character's fate in the 11th hour.

Moviegoers were upset. Some even started a petition to have McCoy fired for spoiling the magic.

The final installment in the Avengers franchise is so action-packed, and filled with endless twists and turns, that even the movie's stars pleaded with fans to protect the film's secrets.

It's even spread to classrooms. One teacher posted a notice on his door warning his students not to talk about the movie until he removes the sign. And one teen was so upset when a classmate revealed the dramatic ending that he punched the boy right in front of the teacher.

"Avengers: Endgame" is getting rave reviews for its conclusion of more than 10 years of films. It had the biggest opening weekend of all time, beating out its predecessor, "Avengers: Infinity War."
