Brazen Woman Slips Out of Her Handcuffs at Wisconsin Police Station
Amber Gonzalez was re-arrested an hour later.
A woman has been captured on surveillance video slipping free of handcuffs and making a bold escape from a Wisconsin police station.
Amber Gonzalez, 30, had been arrested at a Waukesha hotel for theft and placed in a holding cell, where she was handcuffed to the wall.
But the tiny Gonzalez, who weighs only 97 pounds, managed to wriggle her hand out of the cuffs and run outside.
Her freedom didn't last too long, however: She was apprehended an hour later at the same hotel where she'd originally been arrested.
Police said such an escape had never happened at their facility before.
