Did Millie Bobby Brown Fake Her Skincare Tutorial?
The "Stranger Things" star got some heat for the way she appeared to use her new skincare products.
Did Millie Bobby Brown fake a tutorial for her new skincare line?
That's what many fans are asking after the teen actress posted a YouTube video of her seemingly showing people how she uses products from her new line, Florence by Mills.
The "Stranger Things" star, 15, talks to viewers in the video, saying she is "applying now" and washing off certain cleansers.
However, viewers pointed out that her makeup stays intact during the shoot and it doesn't appear that any product is actually applied to her face.
"Y’all seen that video of Millie Bobby Brown fake using her skincare line? ... It’s worse than Kylie’s video," one person tweeted, referencing a similar video posted by Kylie Jenner earlier this year that earned her backlash for washing her face for some 10 seconds.
Though Millie didn't directly say whether she faked the routine, she responded to the criticism on Instagram, writing, “I’m still learning the best way to share my routines as i get to know this space better — i’m not an expert. i thought doing a quick video replicating my personal process for that night was okay, but that’s not what was conveyed. i understand, i appreciate all of your feedback on this journey, please keep sharing your thoughts and i will too!”
