An emotional John Schneider opened up to Inside Edition about the day he was ordered to report to jail. in a bitter alimony dispute with his ex-wife.

"I can't run, I can't hide, I'm gonna go to jail," the "Dukes of Hazzard" recalled in an exclusive interview. "I can't believe it, but I'm gonna go to jail."

Schneider was sentenced to three days in Los Angeles County Jail back in May over failure to pay alimony to his estranged wife, Elvira “Elly” Schneider.

He ultimately served only a few hours due to overcrowding.

In 2014, Elvira filed for divorce from Schneider after two decades of marriage, citing irreconcilable differences. He was later order to pay her $18,911 a month in alimony, money he claims not to have.

"Do I look like a guy who's got an extra $19,000 a month?" he asked Inside Edition's Megan Alexander.

Schneider also has a message for his wife.

"There's no money," he said.
