There is shocking news that Oscar®-winning actress Catherine Zeta-Jones is undergoing mental health treatment for bipolar disorder.
Zeta-Jones has been by her husband, Michael Douglas's side in his battle with stage four throat cancer since last summer.
The pressure led to a memorable meltdown at JFK Airport in September, when she dissolved into tears in a mass of paparazzi.
And just last month, a furious Zeta-Jones flipped out at a photographer she accused of punching her in the chin as she and her husband were entering a London hotel.
Zeta-Jones was reportedly treated for bipolar disorder at the world-famous Silver Hill hospital in Connecticut.
The National Enquirer broke the story in its issue out today, reporting that Zeta-Jones checked into Silver Hill on April 6th under the alias "Terrie Kirny" and that Michael Douglas was with her when she was dropped off.
Zeta-Jones's publicist adds that she's now back at home and said, "She's feeling great and looking forward to starting work this week on her two upcoming films."
