Charlie Sheen Speaks About His 2011 Meltdown

Charlie Sheen opened up about his famous 2011 meltdown, but is he really on the road to recovery? INSIDE EDITION has the story.

Charlie Sheen talked to Matt Lauer on Thursday's Today show about how far he's come since last year's public meltdown.

"I did not recognize parts of who that guy was," said Sheen.

Lauer said to Sheen, "You know there were people who thought you were on such a steep spiral that it was going to end really badly."

But judging from a new video, it doesn't look as if he's off the booze entirely.

Sheen was at a Guns ‘N Roses concert in Los Angeles just 19 days ago. In the video, Sheen can be seen slurring his words and asking where former Guns ‘N Roses guitarist Slash was.

When Sheen was asked about the incident on the Today show he sounded a bit trailing on the topic.

Sheen said, "But if you don't drink a lot and you go out, and there is this Guns ‘N Roses thing and suddenly, it's on."

Lauer said, "I don't know one addiction specialist who would tell a guy in your position that it's okay to drink."

Sheen laughed at Lauer's comment and said, "If you did, I should probably go to that guy."

Sheen's new sitcom, Anger Management premieres on the cable network FX this June.
