Price is Right Makes Television History With First Male Model

The search is over and the first male model has joined The Price is Right. INSIDE EDITION was behind-the-scenes as the hunky guy made his debut on the legendary game show.

Rob Wilson come on down. The 24-year-old hunk from Boston is the newest model on The Price is Right.

Wilson is making TV history as the first ever male model on the venerable game show in more than 40 years, and INSDIE EDITION is behind-the-scenes during his debut.

“It’s like a matinee of Magic Mike in this place, it's crazy,” said the TV show’s host Drew Carey. Carey is stoked that his show is adding a little beefcake to the bevy of beautiful models, who are equally excited.

“Oh, he's awesome he's a natural,” said one female model.

Wilson’s six pack is looking good as he presents a Jet Ski. And he does his best biker dude impression while straddling a motorcycle that is presented as a prize. The ladies in the audience are loving it.

Wilson said of his new found fame, “It’s been amazing.”

Several hundred other good looking guys stripped down when they auditioned for the role back in August. The female Price is Right models then whittled the list down to three, and viewers selected Wilson.

“It's definitely not as easy as it looks it's very fast,” said Wilson.

Speaking of fast, Wilson's time on the show will run out almost as soon as he starts. He's only signed up for a one-week try out. But if everything works out, he’ll be posing with the prizes for a long time to come.
