At first glance, Rihanna looked covered up. But, her sheer Alaia gown actually left little to the imagination.

Suzanne Marquis told INSIDE EDITION, "The only person I can see maybe getting in trouble would be Kelly Rowland. Kelly Rowland didn't show side boob, but she showed side tush."
INSIDE EDITION's Jim Moret asked Kathy Griffin, 'Who are you wearing?"
Griffin said, "I am wearing Oscar de la Renta."
Moret then asked, "Did you get the memo?"
Griffin said, "I am only showing inside boob."
Ashanti was another music star to show plenty of cleavage.
Ashanti told INSIDE EDITION, "In one sense you want to keep everyone classy and dress accordingly to the event. But, then you don't want to limit peoples creativity and self expression. You have to find a good balance."
Jennifer Lopez poked fun at all the controversy, showing lots and lots of leg in an asymmetrical gown with the highest slit imaginable.
“As you can see, I read the memo,” the singer joked.
The high tech gown worn by Carrie Underwood had people talking. It was a four-and-a-half-foot wide skirt that was designed to reflect projected images. INSIDE EDITION caught up with designer Don O’Neal.
O'Neal told INSIDE EDITION, "It is the first time I have ever seen anything like that. I think it is amazing to show off that type of technology."
Underwood also showed off a $31 million dollar necklace.
Speaking of accessories, gorgeous 45-year-old Faith Hill was actually wearing braces. Apparently Hill also had braces as a child, but decided her teeth needed some straightening.
Inside the Staples Center, we spotted Rihanna cuddling up to her on-again boyfriend, Chris Brown. A diamond on her ring finger lit up Twitter with speculation about an engagement.
Bad boy Brown tried to, at least, dress the part of an angel, walking the red carpet in a white suit. But his feud with fellow singer Frank Ocean was on full display when Ocean beat Brown for Best Urban Contemporary Album. Brown refused to join in the standing ovation for Ocean. The pair got into a brawl two weeks ago over a parking spot.
Fun, the group behind "We Are Young," won Best New Artist and Song of the Year. The band’s singer, Nate Ruess joked, "If this is in HD and you can see our faces, we are not very young."
And Prince made a rare appearance to present Record of the Year.
From the glamour, to the music, it was a Grammys night to remember.
