Paris Hilton Among Robbery Victims at Bling Ring Premiere

Sofia Coppola's new film, The Bling Ring premiered in Los Angels where Paris Hilton and other victims of notorious crime ring showed up to walk the red carpet. INSIDE EDITION has the details.

Paris Hilton was at the Hollywood premiere of The Bling Ring, the film about the teenage burglars who ripped her off and other big name stars in Hollywood.

She told reporters, “It was really hard to watch it and see it happening because I know that it happened to me in real life so it made me very emotional and upset I was really mad at those kids.”

Director Sofia Coppola even spent two weeks filming scenes inside Hilton's home. Hilton also had a cameo in the film.

The Bling Ring tells the real life story of celebrity obsessed kids turned crooks who targeted the homes of Paris, Lindsay Lohan, Audrina Patridge, and Orlando Bloom.

The burglars known as “The Bling Ring” broke into homes here in the Hollywood Hills. They wanted to live like their rich and famous celebrity idols and they did find fame but for all of the wrong reasons.

The movie stars Emma Watson from the Harry Potter fame, who plays the gang's ringleader Alexis Neiers. Neiers was actually filming her own reality TV show about want-to-be starlets when she was arrested. While the 21-year-old has moved on, she's married and just recently had a baby, America remains fascinated with the story.

Sophie Schillaci, editor of The Hollywood Reporter told INSIDE EDITION, “America is fascinated by The Bling Ring because it has all of these elements of crime, glamour, celebrity, teenager bucking the norm.”

Meantime, Hilton says she's amped up her security so this will never happen to her again.

She said, “I'm very safe now, no more kids breaking in.”

Four members of The Bling Ring were jailed and three others got probation.
