Zac Efron became the talk of the MTV Movie Awards after he bared his chest on stage, but some are wondering if the actor enhanced his body. INSIDE EDITION explains.
No shirt! No problem! Actor Zac Efron took home the award for Best Shirtless Performance at the MTV Movie Awards on Sunday night, and in true MTV fashion, he bared it all.
Now, some are asking if his abs were enhanced with a spray tan.
The Daily Mail contrasts his "tangerine torso" with his "pale face." "A fake tan disaster," the paper concluded.
The show, known for its outrageous categories, was hosted by comedian Conan O’Brien, who joked, “I was originally in the best shirtless category, but they said, ‘It's not fair.’”
Fueling rumors that Lupita Nyong'o and Jared Leto are a couple, she presented the Dallas Buyer's Club actor with the award for Best On-Screen Transformation.
Leto said, “Lupita, thank you. That's an award in itself to get that award from her.”
Actress Mila Kunis won Best Villain for her role as a wicked witch in Oz: The Great and Powerful. She placed a protective hand on her growing baby bump as she accepted the award. Kunis said, “I was the only woman nominated and I won."
The most anticipated performance of the night was from Rihanna and Eminem performing their hit song, "Monster."
Hunger Games: Catching Fire took home the biggest award of the night, Movie of the Year. Josh Hutcherson paid tribute to his co-star, the late Philip Seymour Hoffman, saying, “To have him in our movies was one of the coolest things in the world. He's one of the actors I’ve looked up to my entire life. We think about him every day on set. Wherever he is, this award goes to him as well.”
And actor Mark Wahlberg tossed a slew of naughty words in his acceptance speech when he took home the Generation Award.
He said, "I know what this means. This is the 'You are too (blank) old to come back again award.'"
Social media star Grumpy Cat was also there wearing a miniature version of singer Pharrell's famous hat.
O'Brien joked, “Grumpy Cat is in the first row. Why does he have a better seat than Nick Lachey?"
But it was Zac Efron's strip tease that has everyone talking. Fake tan or not, he's got a great bod.
