Giraffes Steal Breakfast Straight Off the Plates of Hotel Guests
Giraffe Manor is a boutique hotel located within a 140-acre wildlife sanctuary.
These giraffes sure would also like a taste of that continental breakfast.
Guests need to stay on their toes as giraffes are often peeking in through the windows and sneaking a bite at Giraffe Manor in Nairobi, Kenya.
The boutique hotel is located in the middle of 140 acres of forest that serves as a sanctuary to a herd of endangered Rothschild giraffes.
“It was a really great experience,” said Alex Timophy, who traveled from Moscow, Russia, to visit the hotel.
He explained it was his 7-year-old daughter Amelia’s dream to meet a giraffe.
“She was so happy she was there,” Timophy said. “I think we will have to visit them again.”
The giraffes are a part of a breeding program, and officials hope to reintroduce pairs back into the wild to boost the endangered species' population in the wild.
