Trump Wants Apology From Fox After Contributor Says Carly Fiorina Ripped Him Apart

The billionaire is fired up about comments made by Fox News Contributor Rich Lowry.

There's an all-out war between Donald Trump and Fox News after commentator Rich Lowry said: “Let’s be honest, Carly cut his b*** off with the precision of a surgeon, and he knows it.”

Host Megyn Kelly couldn't believe what the Fox News contributor said Wednesday night about Trump's debate performance against rival Carly Fiorina.

Trump fired both barrels on Twitter:

Incompetent @RichLowry lost it tonight on @FoxNews. He should not be allowed on TV and the FCC should fine him!

.@FoxNews owes me an apology for allowing clueless pundit @RichLowry to use such foul language on TV. Unheard of!

Lowry is an editor of the conservative magazine National Review and tweeted right back:

.@realDonaldTrump I love how Mr. Anti-PC now wants the FCC to fine me. #pathetic

— Rich Lowry (@RichLowry) September 24, 2015

.@realDonaldTrump so it's OK for you to insult Carly's looks, but you can't handle me describing what happened to you in the debate?

— Rich Lowry (@RichLowry) September 24, 2015

.@realDonaldTrump man, you can dish it out but you REALLY, REALLY can't take it

— Rich Lowry (@RichLowry) September 24, 2015

Trump blasted Lowry in a live phone interview with CNN on Thursday morning: "He said something I never heard on television before. I was shocked."

The war reached fever pitch after Fox News cancelled an appearance Trump was scheduled to make Thursday on The O’Reilly Factor.

Fox News says it took action because of recent Trump tweets that called Megyn Kelly "lightweight" and O’Reilly’s show "boring!"

"When coverage doesn't go his way, he engages in personal attacks on our anchors and hosts, which has grown stale and tiresome,” says a Fox News statement.

But Trump, appearing at a town hall meeting in South Carolina, says it's he who is boycotting Fox News for the foreseeable future.

.@FoxNews has been treating me very unfairly & I have therefore decided that I won't be doing any more Fox shows for the foreseeable future.

Bill O'Reilly said this about Trump on Live with Kelly and Michael: “The worst thing Donald Trump learned to do was tweet."

Meanwhile, a just-released Quinnipiac poll shows Trump's Republican rivals may be closing the gap.

Trump is now favored by 25 percent of GOP voters with Dr. Ben Carson at 17 percent and Carly Fiorina at 12 percent.

But Trump got some good news today -- he's going to be a grandfather again.

Daughter Ivanka posted an adorable Instagram video with her two children announcing she's having baby number three in the spring.

Trump tweeted:

So happy about my daughter @IvankaTrump’s announcement that she will be having a baby this spring. Congratulations!
