A Nebraska woman drunkenly sneaked into a zoo on Halloween and was bitten by a tiger after trying to pet it, police say.

Jacqueline Eide and a friend allegedly managed to get inside Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium around 7 a.m. before cops say she made her way to the tiger exhibit.

The hospital alerted police and said Eide was acting aggressively toward staff. "Eide was aggressive toward staff and showed signs of intoxication of alcohol and/or drugs," according to the police press release.

Eide was cited for Criminal Trespass but remained at the hospital for treatment.

Zoo officials believe the tiger that bit her is an 18-year-old female Malayan tiger named Mai. The tiger has only three legs.
