Presidential Hopefuls Cast Their Votes as Topless Women Protest Trump's Polling Station

Before Election Day, the candidates made one final push to voters long into the night.

As Americans cast their ballots this Election Day, Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump have headed to their local polling places.

Hillary Clinton voted in Chappaqua, New York, with her husband and former president Bill Clinton at 8 a.m. Tuesday.

The Clintons have resided in the town since her days as a New York Senator in 2000. She posted a photo on Instagram of the moment.

Several hours later, Donald Trump arrived at a polling place in midtown Manhattan to cast his vote.

There was early controversy outside the midtown Manhattan location, with a crowd outside booing the Republican.

In addition, two bare-chested women went into the polling station chanting, “Out of our polls, Trump. Out of our polls, Trump!”

One of the women had “Trump” scrawled across her upper chest and “Grab your b****s” by her stomach, according to NBC New York.

Police responded to the situation and arrested the women. They were reportedly charged with electioneering – a misdemeanor that includes wearing a candidate’s name or sign at a polling place.

The 2016 election is the first time in more than 70 years that both major party candidates are from New York. The last time that happened, Franklin Delano Roosevelt went up against Thomas Dewey in 1944.

Both Clinton and Trump are both expected to watch the election results from Manhattan, where 5,000 NYPD officers will be keeping the peace in an astonishing display of security. Authorities are comparing the large law enforcement presence to New Year’s Eve, and last year's Papal visit.

Clinton will be at The Jacob Javits Convention Center on Manhattan’s West Side. Two miles away, Trump's supporters will gather at The Hilton Hotel.
