As Tiger Woods prepares his return to golf, racy text messages that he allegedly sent to his mistress Joslyn James are sending shockwaves through the country. INSIDE EDITION has the latest.
The lewd texts sent by Tiger Woods to his former mistress, Joslyn James, are causing shock waves across the U.S.A.
The New York Daily News headline reads, "Best Text He Ever Had." And the New York Post says, "Tiger In The Rough."
And even Joslyn James says as she reads them again, she is shocked.
INSIDE EDITION's Les Trent asked James, "As you look back now on these text messages, how do you feel?"
"After everything that has come out, and I look back on them and I feel I should have known better," said James.
She also told INSIDE EDITION that Tiger sometimes texted her while the same moment he was talking on the phone to his wife, Elin.
As well as giving an insight into Tiger's darkest fantasies, the texts show how far he went to keep his cheating secret.
In one text last September, he tells 32-year-old Josyln where to meet him at his hotel, texting, "Head to the elevators and go to 334. That's your room. The door will be open with the dead bolt. I have to get back here to wait for the food. I'm in room 358. Let me know when you are in the room."
Minutes later he warns her, "Sweet. Don't come down here yet. Lots of people in the hall. I will let you know when it clears."
When the coast is clear he texts, "Come on down. It's quiet here in the hall now. There is a room service cart in my hall. Be careful."
The new revelations could not have come at a worse time for Tiger. He is preparing for his comeback at the Masters next month. Experts say the revelations could make harder to regain his corporate sponsorships.
Sports marketing expert Robert Tuchman says, "I think it's going to take Tiger about three to five years to get his sponsorships back, but it's important that he stays out of trouble, he plays golf, and he plays golf well."
