Winner of Third Biggest Powerball Jackpot in History is Announced

After weeks of anonymity, the winner of one of the biggest Powerball jackpots in history has been revealed. INSIDE EDITION has the story.

Eighty-one year old Louise White of Newport, Rhode Island just won the third biggest Powerball Jackpot in history—$336.4 million!

"This will make my family very happy," said White.

She stepped forward on Tuesday to claim her prize, along with her team of newly hired lawyers.

She bought the winning ticket at a convenience store last month—and when she learned it was a winner, she slept with the ticket tucked inside her bible!

"Anybody who takes a lottery ticket and stores it in her bible, you know is a good person," said White's lawyer.

The whopping check is made out to the Rainbow Sherbet Fund, named after the tasty dessert White purchased along with the winning ticket.

"We are truly blessed. Thank you," said White.

White has decided to take her winnings in a lump-sum payment of $210 million. And here's a funny moment—on her way out of the press conference, she forgot her pocketbook!

This is one lucky lady, and if you don't believe it, listen to this: "About a week later, she won eighty dollars in a scratch-off lottery ticket!" said her lawyer.
