Heroes Free 70-Year-Old Man From Burning Car in Dramatic Video
Police said the man would not have survived without the help of the good Samaritans.
Dramatic police footage shows a group of good Samaritans desperately trying to free a man trapped in a burning SUV on a Texas highway.
The car was hit by a wrong-way driver and flipped on its side in Corpus Christi on New Year’s Day. Police officers and civilians worked together to push the burning SUV upright as more and more people rushed in to help a 70-year-old man trapped inside.
Police dashcam footage captured the entire incident.
The footage was released over the weekend, and cops say the elderly man would not have survived without this courageous team effort.
The wrong-way driver was killed in the crash, according to officials.
