Lebanese Protesters Serenade Toddler With 'Baby Shark'
Baby shark, doo doo doo doo doo doo.
“Baby Shark” is the earwig that has the same effect on children, no matter where they are in the world.
In Lebanon, a group of protesters have been fighting the government, pushing for officials to tackle corruption and enact economic reforms.
Time reports the demonstrations began last Thursday, after the government announced they would be implementing new taxes, including a $6 monthly fee to use free messaging apps like WhatsApp.
Among the protesters, sat baby Robin Jabbour.
His mom, Eliane Jabbour, asked them to quiet down just a little since Robin woke up shaken from the noise.
The protesters obliged, singing and doing the shark dance to the song that has become the international baby whisperer.
In the video, little Robin looks around in disbelief, but he is calm.
"Although he looked confused in the video, right now he starts laughing whenever he watches the video," Jabbour told Reuters.
