Man Dies After Allegedly Slashing Arms Open While Trying to Break Into Texas Home: Police
Javier Tellez Jr., 28, was discovered by authorities in a pool of his own blood last Tuesday, according to a press release from the El Paso Police Department.
A man suspected of trying to rob a Texas home was found dead inside after having apparently slashed his arms open in the process of attempting to break in, police said.
Javier Tellez Jr., 28, was discovered by authorities in a pool of his own blood last Tuesday, according to a press release from the El Paso Police Department. The homeowner spotted a broken window and blood, and called 911 for help.
After police entered the home, they found Tellez inside. Officials determined that he had cut himself severely on glass after breaking a window to gain entry to the home, the press release stated.
Unable to stop the bleeding, Tellez died inside the home, police said.
