Adam Sandler Says Knee Grab Was His Way of Being Friendly

Adam Sandler is speaking out about grabbing an actress’ knee on live TV. The SNL alum says he was just being friendly. During a recent appearance on Britain’s ‘The Graham Norton Show,’ Sandler sat on a couch between actresses Emma Thompson and Claire Foy. As Sandler was telling a story, he patted Foy’s knee and she cringed. He repeatedly did it and Thompson did not look amused. ‘The Punch Drunk Love’ star was blasted on social media, with some calling him "a lech!"
