ALS Patient Explains How Humor Helps Deal With Difficult Diagnosis

Thirty-four-year-old Brooke Eby from Bethesda, Maryland, has ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease. She began feeling symptoms at 29 years old and was diagnosed four years later. Although the journey has been difficult, Brooke says keeping a positive attitude and having a good sense of humor has helped along the way. “Honestly, it's been therapeutic,” Brooke said. She shared her story with Inside Edition Digital’s Andrea Swindall.
