Arizona Zoo Knows How to Keep Its Elephants Cool as Temps Hit 115 Degrees

How do you keep an elephant cool? Pretty much they way you would expect: with ice and plenty of hose baths. Elephant keeper Corey Barr of the Phoenix Zoo said, "Elephants are pretty intelligent animals so as long as we provide them with the tools that they need to keep themselves cool they'll do it on their own." And these elephants know what heat is; The thermometer's been hitting 115 degrees Fahrenheit recently.
