Cops Unaware Suspect Was Carrying Infant When Tackled and Arrested, LAPD Says

Police say when they tackled a suspect to the ground, they didn’t realize he was carrying a 10-month-old baby. The LAPD says officers were pursuing a vehicle that was driving erratically and accelerated when officers attempted to make a traffic stop. Cops say the driver slammed into another vehicle and continued to drive off. Officers pursued the vehicle for another 11 minutes before they say the suspect ditched the car and left on foot.
