Dramatic Drop in COVID-19 Cases Points to Possible Pandemic End in Sight

A dramatic drop in COVID-19 cases has lifted the nation’s spirits today, especially in the hard-hit south. Cases in Arkansas are down 65%, down in Louisiana 71%, and down in Florida 77% while nationwide cases have dropped 40% since Sept. 1. Infectious disease expert Dr. Ashish Jha has been giving his valuable insight across the airwaves since the start of the pandemic, from his home office. Now, he feels like it’s safe enough to do interviews in person, and flew to New York for TV appearances.
