Is He The Oldest Rookie Cop In America?

Jerry O'Donnell is a cadet in training at the Asheville Police Academy in North Carolina. The 65-year-old is no stranger to carrying a badge. Back in the day, he played a police officer in the classic police drama "NYPD Blue." O'Donell tells Inside Edition he signed up to be part of the academy to see if they would take him, and they did. O'Donell will graduate from the police academy on January 30th and will be sworn in as an officer in March.
