Giant ‘Gundam’ Robot Undergoes Testing at Japanese Theme Park

The robots are coming! A Japanese theme park built this life size robot from “Gundam” to celebrate the anime’s 40th anniversary. The 59-foot-tall bot weighs 25 tons and, while it only moves in slow motion, a sped-up video shows what it can do: moving its hands and feet, even taking a knee. People are so mesmerized watching the mammoth creation go through its tests that this video already racked up more than six million views on Twitter. Inside Edition Digital’s Mara Montalbano has more.
