Heinz ‘Hot Dog Pact’ Wants to Settle Mismatched Quantity Controversy

Why do hot dogs come in packages of eight, while buns come in packages of ten? It’s an age-old cookout controversy that may soon be resolved. In an effort to right this wrong, Heinz has launched the Heinz Hot Dog Pact, which is “calling on Big Bun and Big Wiener companies to find the answer to this hot dog packaging mismatch, once and for all." The tongue-in-cheek petition has more than 25,000 signatures on Change.org.
