How a Pianist Turned His Boat Into a Booming Concert Venue

Masayuki Tayama, the captain and pianist of the Piano Boat, currently in Uxbridge, just outside London, said the vessel was the only one of its kind. Audiences enjoy Tayama’s renditions of Beethoven and Schumann to an audience of a dozen people dressed in their evening best. Tayama says the difference between playing at a 4,000-seat venue and in his boat is intimacy. Inside Edition Digital’s Stephanie Officer has the story.
