Inside Madonna’s First New York City Apartment

Twenty-four-year-old Madonna back performed at a New York City disco in 1982, with nothing more than a dollar and a dream. When she left the stage, she came home to her first apartment on the Lower East Side. It’s been renovated since she lived there and the current occupant let Inside Edition take a look around. It has two bedrooms, a modest kitchen and a tiny bathroom with just a shower. Madonna toured the apartment for a VH1 special. These days, Madonna calls Lisbon, Portugal, home.
