Kids Run to Grab 20,000 Easter Marshmallows Dropped From Helicopter in Michigan

It’s an unusual Easter-time tradition that kids are really into. The city of Trenton, Michigan, held its 38th annual Marshmallow Drop in Elizabeth Park. Kids from all over town gathered and waited anxiously around the perimeter of a field as a helicopter arrived with the action. Then, 20,000 holiday marshmallows were dropped from the sky and kids took off running to claim their treat, an early gift from the Easter Bunny, of course.
