Two best friends, who met in medical school, have delivered each other's babies. Dr. Jocelyn Slaughter and Dr. Laquita Martinez, both OB-GYNs, completed their residencies together and have remained friends ever since. So it was a no-brainer when Martinez and Slaughter both became pregnant in 2014 that they would deliver each other's babies.
