Suspect Robs Store Stating Money Will Go ‘Back to Community’: Reports

A man allegedly robbed a convenience store and reports say he told the clerk that he was going to give the money back to the community. It happened on Staten Island. The NYPD says the suspect entered the store, pointed an assault rifle at the person behind the counter, and demanded cash. In the video, the suspect can be heard telling the clerk to “empty the register” and that he “won’t hurt” him. Inside Edition Digital’s Mara Montalbano has more.
