Teen Who Climbed Flagpole on Spring Break: ‘I’m Definitely Gonna Fall’

This spring break stunt went terribly wrong. Haylee Hoefgen, a pre-med student at the University of Kansas, was having a great time on the beach in South Padre, Texas, when she thought it would be a good idea to climb a flagpole. Her luck ran out when she almost got to the top and the pole came crashing down. The video has been viewed more than 5 million times and Haylee has been dubbed “Flagpole Girl.” Fortunately, she only suffered minor injuries.
