The App Zoom Is Changing the Way People Connect During the Coronavirus Outbreak

As the nation enters yet another week of social distancing, millions of Americans are staying in communication via the app Zoom. The app was first used by businesses for videoconferencing, but overnight, everyone seems to be using it. From remote teaching and virtual meetings, to “Zoom parties,” where people are socializing in conferences of up to 100 people, the app is sweeping the nation. We spoke with a teacher in Queens, New York about teaching kindergarten on the app.
