Killer robots sound like the stuff of science fiction, but could they actually pose a threat to humanity? A new initiative wants to make sure they don’t. Mary Wareham of Human Rights Watch says the Campaign to Stop Killer Robots wants to “call for the launch of negotiations on the treaty to ban killer robots and retain meaningful human control over the use of force.” Members of the campaign spoke at the United Nations in support of the ban.
