Why Are Some Moviegoers Skeptical of Sold-Out ‘Sound of Freedom’ Screenings?
The independent movie, "Sound of Freedom," raked in $152 million since its release. The movie is being embraced by conservatives but there is also some skepticism about the huge box-office numbers. A citizen sleuth says she found lots of empty seats at a New York theater that was supposedly sold-out. The practice is called astroturfing. Inside Edition purchased tickets to two nearly sold-out "Sound of Freedom" screenings to check out how filled the theaters were.
