Meghan Markle's Half-Sister Says She Will Be Appearing on 'Celebrity Big Brother'
When asked why she would do it, Samantha Markle said, "Life is about cashing in."
Is Meghan Markle's half-sister going on a reality show?
Samantha Markle is reportedly collecting six figures to appear on "Celebrity Big Brother."
"Why not?" she said when questioned about the reports by Inside Edition.
"Life is about cashing in," she added. "You take opportunities as they arise and hopefully you enjoy the ride and make it as positive as you can. There's nothing wrong with it."
Samantha Markle is set to star in Great Britain's version of "Celebrity Big Brother," which begins filming on Aug. 17.
She claims she has much better things to talk about than her famous half-sister.
"The purpose of that show would not be to discuss [Meghan]," she said.
The newest season will feature celebs that "have been caught up in their own media storm," according to the show's producers.
Meanwhile, the duchess’ father, Thomas Markle, is reportedly "livid" after "The Talk" co-host Sharon Osbourne claimed he has a problem with alcohol.
She made the claim after his embarrassing interview earlier this week with The Sun.
"It is so obvious that you have a bad drinking problem, and it's obvious that over the last few years, you haven't been close with your daughter," Osbourne said. "Get yourself clean and sober and then come back."
“Just be happy for your daughter," she added. "Let her live her life."
Friends of Thomas Markle are coming to his defense, telling The Sun, "He's livid, utterly furious. Sharon Osbourne doesn't know him at all. How dare she say these things."
