Nearly 1 Million People Join Facebook Event to Storm Area 51 to 'See Them Aliens'

Event organizers invited followers to "Storm Area 51, They Can't Stop Us All."
Area 51 has always been notorious for its secrecy and security, but perhaps not for long.
Nearly a million people on Facebook said they were either interested in or going to an event titled “Storm Area 51, They Can’t Stop Us All”.
The tongue-in-cheek event, which seems to be hosted by Twitch streamer SmyleeKun and a meme account, invites followers to join them on Sept. 20 at the Area 51 Alien Center to plan their entry.
“If we naruto run,” the vague post began, referring to a Japanese anime-style sprint done hunched over with the arms outstretched behind the runner, “we can move faster than their bullets.
“Lets see them aliens,” the post concluded.
While organizers haven’t posted any additional details, followers seem to have taken the idea by storm, with diagrams of where the “rock throwers” should position themselves and plans of when they should all go to Del Taco to celebrate following the victory.
Some compared the event to D-Day, while others compared it to the Fyre Festival.
