The Juice is loose — on Twitter.

In the wee hours of Saturday morning, a tweet appeared from @TheRealOJ32. The 22-second selfie video taken by the former football star seems to confirm the account’s authenticity. The caption reads, “Coming soon!!!”

In the video, Simpson denounces all of the other fake O.J. accounts floating around.

“Coming soon to Twitter, you’ll get to read all my thoughts and opinions on just about everything,” he begins.

“Now there’s a lot of fake O.J. accounts out there, so this one, @TheRealOJ32, is the only official one. So, it should be a lot of fun. I got a little getting even to do. This should be fun. So God bless, take care,” Simpson says.

By 10 a.m. Saturday, the account gained more than 80,000 followers.

As you can imagine, reaction to The Juice joining the social media platform has been mixed.

“Too soon,” one user tweeted.

“Yes!! Can’t wait!!” wrote one person.

"I got a little gettin' even to do" uh again?” someone else asked.

“*immediately deleting my tweets from when we watched that OJ story together, as a tl family*” wrote another.

Simpson joining Twitter comes during the same week of the 25th anniversary of the death of his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend, Ron Goldman.

He was acquitted in their deaths in the infamous “trial of the century.” Earlier this week, he told the Associated Press he will no longer revisit the subject. "We don't need to go back and relive the worst day of our lives," he said. "My family and I have moved on to what we call the 'no negative zone.' We focus on the positives."

Simpson was later convicted of armed robbery in 2008 and served nine years in a Nevada prison.

The 72-year-old now lives in Las Vegas, and he said he plays golf just about every day with “retired guys.”
