Some good fortune has spun Pat Sajak’s way after a successful surgery.
Taping for "Wheel of Fortune" was cancelled Thursday after the longtime game show host underwent emergency surgery for a blocked intestine.
On Friday, the show’s official Twitter account revealed the news.
“He is resting comfortably and looking forward to getting back to work. Taping resumed today as scheduled and Vanna White has stepped in as host.”
It was accompanied by a screenshot of the "Wheel of Fortune" board with a puzzle that read “Get Well Soon Pat!”
