Roseanne Barr Declares She Has Sworn Off Ambien in New String of Tweets
The disgraced comedian had blamed the sleeping pill for her racist tirade against Valerie Jarrett, an adviser to President Obama.
Roseanne Barr says she's given up Ambien.
“I sleep a lot now-without Ambien too, thank God!!” she tweeted Wednesday night.
Last month, the actress blamed the sleeping pill after going on a racist rant against Valerie Jarrett, a former adviser to President Obama. Now, she reveals she has turned to nature to help recover from the shock of losing her show.
"I have been planting trees, digging in the earth, singing and feeling a great deal of relief," she wrote in another tweet.
She is also repeating her claims that she is not a racist.
“I’ve never practiced 'racism' in my entire life and never will," she tweeted Wednesday night.
Roseanne also gave insight into her new life, saying she watched a new documentary about Malcolm X.
The comic, whose hit show was dropped late last month by ABC, also posted that she has faith in the American people.
In addition, she thanked a variety of friends for their support, including Sean Hannity, Rosie O’Donnell and Norm McDonald.
