The last entry in the series features time travel.
“Sharknado,” the SyFy channel sensation, returns Sunday night with its sixth and final installment, “Sharknado: It's About Time.”
Tara Reid and Ian Ziering return once again to star in the campy flick.
“Having worked on the first one and thinking that was going to be a complete bomb, and to see the exact opposite happen, and not just a sequel, but a third movie, a fourth movie, a fifth and now a sixth movie, it's unheard of,” Ziering told Inside Edition.
“I really think it will be the most enjoyable one on every level,” Reid added.
The original “Sharknado” premiered five years ago and was followed up each year with over-the-top sequels like “Sharknado: Oh Hell No!” “Sharknado: The 4th Awakens” and “Sharknado: Global Swarming.”
Even though “Sharknado: It's About Time” is billed as the final chapter, the stars said there could be another installment down the line.
"There could always be another,” Ziering insisted.
