Sophie Turner's 'Game of Thrones' Tattoo Was Actually a Major Spoiler
The pack did, in fact, survive.
A year ago, “Game of Thrones” star Sophie Turner got a tattoo on her arm that turned out to be a major spoiler for the series.
Turner got the tattoo just as the shooting of the final season was wrapping. "It’s the dire wolf from ‘Game of Thrones,’ and it says, 'The Pack Survives,’” she told “Late Late Show” host James Corden last June.
And indeed, the pack did survive.
The pack refers to the Stark siblings: Sansa played by Turner; Bran, played by Isaac Hempstead-Wright; Arya, played by Maisie Williams; and their half-brother who turned out to be a cousin, Jon Snow, played by Kit Harington.
"The pack survives" is a line from season seven, but there's no doubt, her tattoo did reveal what would go down in the final episode almost one year before the world tuned in.
That's not the only reason Turner is making headlines. The 23-year-old actress is also speaking out against a petition demanding that HBO remake the final season. The petition now has over 1.4 million signatures.
"It’s disrespectful to the crew, and the writers, and the filmmakers who have worked tirelessly over 10 years, and for 100 months shooting the last season," Turner told The New York Times.
Harington had a similar sentiment.
"Whatever critic spends half an hour writing about this season and makes their [negative] judgment on it, in my head they can go f*** themselves," the actor told Esquire magazine. "'Cause I know how much work was put into this."
