A teen once famously crowned the "most beautiful girl in the world" when she was just 6 years old has nabbed a similar honor.

Now 17, model Thylane Blondeau, the daughter of designer Veronika Loubry and soccer player Patrick Blondeau, topped TC Chandler's annual list of the 100 Most Beautiful Faces of the Year.

Blondeau was honored by receiving the award.

"I just can’t believe it myself ...thanks so much @tccandler and everyone who voted..I never thought i was once number one !!" she wrote on Instagram. "I’m thankful to all of you ... I really hope your having great holidays and spend nice Christmas with your family ..all the best to all of you guys lots of love."

Blondeau began modeling when she was just 4 years old, walking the runway for Jean Paul Gaultier.

She's stirred up controversy over the years, with a sultry photo shoot in French Vogue when she was 10. At the time, some criticized the shoot for being "sad and repulsive," according to ABC News

But her mother defended the images, telling a French newspaper, "The only thing that shocks me about the photo is the necklace that she's wearing, which is worth 3 million Euros."

Nowadays, Blondeau is a brand ambassador for L'Oreal and has her own fashion line, Heaven May, which champions comfort above all else.
