Trump Fat-Shames His Own Supporter He Mistook for Protester

The president told the man, in front of a large crowd, to "go home" and "start exercising."

The not-so-skinny president fat-shamed a protester Thursday night in Manchester, New Hampshire.

“That guy has a weight problem. Go home, start exercising,” President Trump said as he turned his scorn to a protester during his rally. “Get ‘em out of here.”

The crowd roared their approval and even had a good laugh when the president mocked his own weight issues, saying the protester has “got a bigger problem than I do.”

Trump would not back down, adding, “got a bigger problem than all of us. Now he goes home and his mother says, ‘What the hell have you just done?’”

But the protester, who was sporting a Trump 2020 shirt, is actually a supporter of the president. He was mistaken for the heckler sitting right by him.

Once the president realized his gaffe, he called Frank Dawson to thank him for his support.

"I love the guy," Dawson told Fox News of Trump after he was accidentally chucked from the stands.

Former White House Communications Director Anthony Scaramucci, tweeted about Trump, saying, “said the fattest president since William Howard Taft."

Scaramucci was actually kicked off Twitter temporarily for his crack.
