The 20-year-old bride, an Australian woman who was not named, reportedly posted to a Facebook group “Vegan Revolution” about her decision.

A vegan bride is reportedly not having any meat eaters at her wedding, where she will serve only vegan meals.

The 20-year-old bride, an Australian woman who has not been named, reportedly posted to a Facebook group titled “Vegan Revolution” to talk about how she didn't want to host omnivores at her wedding. She reportedly wanted her guests to give up eating meat and meat products for life in order to attend her nuptials.

The woman apparently even admitted to uninviting people – including her mom and two bridesmaids – who would not agree to her terms.

The bride’s alleged post read, “When ‘family’ tries to guilt trip you into letting them come to your fully vegan wedding even though they are omnivores. Just for some context, some family members were told they are not invited to my wedding because we don’t want to host murderers at our wedding, which is supposed to be one of the happiest days of our lives.”

The post has since been deleted, but a screenshot of it was shared to Reddit, where it went viral.

Some vegans chimed in on Reddit about what they thought.

“Got married in November and it was completely vegan. Nobody complained. It's good food. We wanted to celebrate our marriage while remaining true to our lifestyle,” one commenter wrote.

“Banning non-vegans is insane and belongs on this sub. I just wanted to clarify the person is insane and not the ideology.”

The bride reportedly said her some people in her family are anti-vegan, according to ABC7. The station also reported one family member responded to the post before it was deleted, saying they were hurt by her decision.
