What does Mars sound like? Windy, if NASA's InSight Lander is to be believed.
InSight's seismometer and air pressure sensor detected the vibrations from Martian winds after landing on the red planet late last month.
The lander's sensors indicate the winds were blowing at speeds of 10 to 15 miles per hour.
Because the readings are difficult to hear without sonic enhancement, NASA pitched up the audio by two octaves. Check out the video above to hear the eerie sound.
The lander's mission is to study the planet and determine whether it's safe for humans.
