Young Girl Outshines Her Classmates With Superstar Moves During Holiday Concert

At one point, the girl didn't want to perform in the concert.

An 8-year-old girl stole the show at her New Jersey school’s holiday concert this week and has become an internet sensation in the process.

Young Lucy’s mom, Kelly Cardillo, told Inside Edition that her daughter didn’t want to attend the concert because there was a gift exchange happening with her dance ensemble and she was angry to be missing it.

When Lucy’s teacher emailed Cardillo to let her know that her daughter needed to be there, the mother obliged.

During the performance, Lucy brought down the house as she sang and danced her way through the school’s rendition of a few Christmas tunes.

Kelly later posted the video on Facebook where her daughter has become a viral star.

“She hadn't shown me anything she was learning in music class. But at the performance — I loved it — but wasn't surprised at all. That's Lucy. She's always loved the stage. She's shy off the stage but loves an audience,” Cardillo told InsideEdition.com.
