Watch A Jewish A Cappella Group Parody 'Uptown Funk' For Passover
Just in time for the holiday!
While Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars celebrate having the No.1 song for the 13th straight week on Billboard with “Uptown Funk,” the A cappella group Six13 gave the hit track a Passover parody calling it “Uptown Passover.”
In a video posted on YouTube, the group pays homage to their religion and takes their audience on a trip uptown to Manhattan.

Six13 changed all of the lyrics to fit the holy holiday. The hook in the original song is “Girls hit your hallelujah,” while the parody altered the line to “Kids, singin’ ‘ma nishtana.’”
“Uptown Passover” comes just in time for the holiday which begins on Friday at sundown and it is sure to bring a new spin on an old tradition.
